A Very Christmas Christmas

In December 2012 we continued our yearly tradition with a Holiday Show.  We presented the world premiere of an original piece by David Hurley called “A Very Christmas Christmas”.  The show was directed by Amanda Allen.  Musical direction by Matt Ludwig.  Piano accompaniment by Shawn Gelzleichter.  Props and puppets by Greg Cushing, Danielle Imperato, Chris Tringale, Bill Fafard.

Performances were on:

  • Friday 14 December 2012 at 7:30 PM
  • Saturday 15 December at 1:30 PM matinee
  • Saturday 15 December at 7:30 PM evening

On Sunday 16 December the cast went Caroling at the Square One Mall.

After years of failure, the Grinch hatches a scheme to delay Christmas for good! Can Santa Claus, with help from his newest elf, Mrs. Claus, and a whole crew of stars from beloved Christmas Specials save the day? Will the Spirits of Christmas Specials be able to convince the Grinch to let the Yuletide season go as scheduled? Find out in this cameo-stuffed Christmas musical!

The show includes many of your favorite Christmas Special characters including the Grinch, Jack Skellington, Burgermeister Meisterburger, Frosty the Snowman, Snowmiser, Heatmiser, and many more!!  This show was fun for all!!

Rehearsals and performances were at the East Saugus United Methodist Church (ESUMC).
