We have just announced plans for our Youth Theatre Workshop 2024, now in its 14th year. We will again have two programs, a two-week camp for younger kids resulting in performances of A Year With Frog and Toad KIDS; and a summer-long evening program for older kids culminating in performances of Xanadu Jr. Much of the staff is returning from last year, but but we have several openings:
- Choreographer for older kids show
- Technical Director for older kids show
- Costumer for older kids show
- Stage Manager for older kids show
- Stage Manager for younger kids show
- Props Coordinator for younger kids show
- Props Coordinator for older kids show
See the post on this website about the important dates of each program. Stipends are provided for each position. It is possible for one person to fill multiple positions; for example, Props coordinator for both shows, or Costumes and Props.
Applicants for the younger kids staff positions must work well with students aged 7 to 13. Applicants for the older kids staff positions must work well with students aged 13 to 18. All positions require a total of eight hours of alternate set build time. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with the creative and management team, teaching theatrical workshops, leading theater games, and providing guidance and support to student interns. These positions are for adults with community or youth theatre experience. An educational background is appreciated. The company requires that all applicants be vaccinated for COVID-19.

We will also have positions open for Interns for the younger kids program. The Interns are usually in high-school or college, and are often participating in the older kids program. The details about applying for the Intern positions will be announced later.
