After our initial effort last summer was immensely successful, we were happy to bring back our Youth Summer Workshop series for another year. This year, 2012, we expanded the program to two weeks and adding a full production at the end of the program! We were excited to be offering this opportunity again, so if you know someone in grades 1 thru 8 who loves to perform and is looking to get more training and experience, our Workshop next summer is the place for them.
The Workshop was held on the following schedule:
July 16-20, 2012: M-Th, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and F, 12 to 4 p.m.
Location: Cliftondale Congregational Church, Saugus
July 23-27, 2012: M-Th, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and F, 2 to 5 p.m.
Location: East Saugus United Methodist Church, Saugus
The workshop attendees presented their production on Thursday, July 26 and Friday, July 27 at 7 p.m. The production was Godspell [Junior].
The fee for the Workshop was $350 for all registrations before July 1, 2012, and $400 thereafter. Spaces for last year’s workshop filled quickly, so get in your registration at early as possible.
Families registering multiple children can do so for $400 for the first child, and only $200 for each additional child. All the children must be reside in the same household and be siblings (not cousins). There is no early registration discount for multiple-child families.
