The Saugus Advertiser freelance reviewer Neil Zolot attended Saturday, October 13th’s full house performance of LIZZIE.
“Although it continues the company’s run of horror and mystery shows in October, the production is as much a rock concert as a musical, maybe more so, with a cast of four women backed by an onstage five piece rock band that sounded like a heavy metal band at times and a new wave/punk band at others.”
He also had the opportunity to speak cast members as well as artistic staff. “’I love it,’” Sliby (Lizzie) said of the show. “’It’s definitely different but that’s what I love about it. You let go and feel the music. I got into it.’”
