Raffle for Saturday Night Fever Tickets

SaturdayNightFevergraphicThe North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) has generously donated tickets to their production of Saturday Night Fever the Musical.  Theatre Company of Saugus (TCS) is holding a raffle for the tickets as a fundraiser.  Raffle tickets will be for sale at TCS events in July, including the Workshops on Theatre Skills, and the performances of Once On This Island Jr.

The raffle prize is a pass, good for two tickets at the performances on either Tuesday 11 August or Wednesday 12 August 2015.  The curtain times for both performances is 7:30 PM.  The theater pass is redeemed by calling the NSMT box office in advance.  North Shore Music Theatre is located in Beverley, Massachusetts at 62 Dunham Road.

The approximate value of the pass is $140.  Raffle tickets will be sold for $2 each, or 6 tickets for $10.  Proceeds will support the upcoming TCS production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood.  The drawing will be held at the final performance of Once On This Island Jr. on Saturday 25 July 2015 at 7:00 PM.  You do not need to be present to win.

Get out our Boogie Shoes as NSMT presents a Musical Premier that will leave you with Night Fever!  Based on the 1970s hit film, Saturday Night Fever tells the story of Tony Manero, a humble New York paint store clerk by day who transforms into a polyester-clad stallion king of disco by night.  Every Saturday night, Tony slips into his flares, pulls on his ludicrously large-collared shirt, and hits the streets and the clubs to strut his stuff.  However, when the club lights come on and Tony and his friends emerge into the daylight, things are never as simple as they seem.  Saturday Night Fever combines scintillating disco choreography with the best-selling soundtrack by The Bee Gees, featuring classic tracks such as Staying Alive, Night Fever, How Deep is Your Love, You Should Be Dancing, Tragedy, Disco Inferno, and Jive Talking.

Saturday Night Fever runs at NSMT from August 11 to August 23, 2015.  Directed by Richard Stafford, choreographed by Nick Kenkel, running time approximately 2 hours 20 minutes including intermission.  Contains crude language and mature subject matter that may be inappropriate for all audiences.
